Cut Stump method is used on mesquite, huisache, and other woody plants. It is used on single stem plants. Treatment can be done year round, however this is not an Organic method. Info on cut stump can be found at Brush Busters. The only organic method we have found for small brush is to dig up the plant and remove as much as we can below the soil surface. |

Tools for cut stump. Plus a spray bottle of 15% remedy mixed with diesel. | |

Procedure is cut the stem as close to the soil surface possible. Then as soon as possible spray the cut surface and around the sides of the stump. |
